Billett Henning & Harvey (Zambia) Limited (BH&H) submitted unsolicited bids to the government of Zambia, in October 2016, for the FDBOT of the Kabwe Aerotropolis, a two or three-story building with commercial office facilities and shopping mall. The Itezhi Tezhi Airport, Central Province and the Nakonde Airport, Muchinga Province, all with residential, retail, commercial and industrial facilities such as, hotels, hospitals, shopping malls, as well as an abattoir in Itezhi Tezhi.

BH&H S.A were awarded the preferred bidder status for these projects on the 12thJune 2018 and authorisation to proceed with full feasibility being granted at the 17th sitting of the Council of Ministers on 8th April 2020.

• International airport – cyber port – air platforms – passenger terminals

• Industrial zone – cargo & ware housing – residential – social infrastructure and other.

• 50 Bed hospital

The initial scope, which may vary according to demand includes the following:

• Two story office block consisting of approx. 60 offices,

• Shopping mall – retail shops with 40 car parking facility   

Opportunity:

• BH&H, will now proceed with full feasibility and are in the process of finalizing negotiations with interested investors. As these projects are PPP, with no government sovereign guarantees, BH&H, as the preferred bidder & developer have undertaken and committed to sauce interested international investors and funders. We will, in the future, consider all investor or funding options including equity negotiations for other projects that we are currently in negotiations of securing in the Sub Sahara region. It is our intention to ensure that we network with the required professional and financial support structures through our strategic alliances and serious ethical financial institutions.

• The total Zambian project value is estimated at $1.9billion.

• BH&H has also submitted a proposal to assist with development of toll road construction and rehabilitation in both Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
